This year's campaign is themed "Young Army Soldiers: Pioneering and Creative for the Community," aiming to promote the role and responsibility of young people in building new rural areas, supporting disadvantaged families, policy beneficiary families, and poor households to improve their living conditions.

During the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, the Ham Yen District Youth Union and the Youth Union of the Provincial Military Command presented 5 gift packages to families with preferential policies and poor households; and provided financial assistance to eliminate temporary housing for Mr. Tran Van An's family in Khuan En village and Mr. Ban Van Tang's family in Xuan Duc village, with an amount of 60 million VND (each household) from the "Eliminating Temporary Housing" Fund launched by Tuyen Quang province.

Mr. Vi Van Kien (70 years old), a resident of Thang Binh village classified as extremely disadvantaged, emotionally shared: “My family lives alone, and after several heavy rains, the house was leaking everywhere. Today, seeing the soldiers and young people come to help, I am so happy, my eyes well up with tears, and I don't know what to say other than 'thank you'.”
From early morning, 60 officers, members of youth unions and associations from the two units were present at the site. Dressed in neat military uniforms and field uniforms, they quickly coordinated with local youth union members to get to work. Some cleared the foundation, others carried materials, and still others dug the ground…

Major Trieu Van Ninh, Assistant for Mass Mobilization Affairs, Political Department (Tuyen Quang Provincial Military Command) - who directly commanded the campaign in the area - said: “This is not just a simple volunteer activity, but also an opportunity for members of the armed forces in the province to demonstrate their sense of responsibility to the community and strengthen the solidarity between the military and the people. Every small action today will contribute to building great trust between the people and the Army.”
The success of the operation was the result of seamless coordination between the forces. From preparation and surveying to the assignment of personnel, everything was carried out meticulously and rigorously.
Do Ngoc Hoan, Secretary of the Ham Yen District Youth Union, shared: “We always consider the soldiers as close companions. Programs like this not only provide practical support to the people but also contribute to educating young people about their responsibility to their homeland.”

Besides productive labor activities, the youth of both forces also engage in cultural, artistic, and sports exchanges, creating a joyful and close-knit atmosphere and enriching the spiritual lives of the people in the highlands. The cultural performances, football matches, and folk games not only help bridge the gap but also demonstrate the close bond between the military and the people.
Captain Phung Dinh Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Regiment 247, who participated in this campaign, expressed: "When I started helping people build houses, I realized more clearly the value of seemingly simple things. I feel proud to be a part of this campaign."

The 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in Hung Duc commune not only brought new homes but also sowed seeds of hope for a better future. It is a persistent journey of faith, responsibility, and above all, of humanity.
In every brick, in every drop of sweat that soaks the soil of the highlands, lies the noble image of the soldiers and the young members of the armed forces of Tuyen Quang province in building a homeland that is increasingly prosperous and civilized.
