March and the mark of volunteering

Youth Month (taking place in March 2026) is an opportunity for the youth of Can Tho City to promote their pioneering and volunteer spirit. Through this, young people have made their mark with a series of projects and activities for the benefit of the community. To date, more than 180,000 youth union members and young people have participated in volunteer activities organized by the Youth Union at all levels, contributing to the development of urban civilization, new rural areas, and social welfare. Many activities supporting young people in improving their digital skills, soft skills, and caring for students in difficult circumstances have also been actively promoted by the Youth Union at all levels. During Youth Month, the city's youth focused on implementing activities to promote digital transformation. Youth Union branches simultaneously organized "Youth Union Member Day," with many beneficial activities: traditional education , caring for students in difficult circumstances. The Can Tho City Youth Union, in collaboration with VISI Eye Hospital in Soc Trang, has launched the "Bright Eyes of Tay Do" program, aiming to provide eye examinations and consultations to approximately 30,000 people between March 2026 and December 2026. The Tan Binh Commune Youth Union, in coordination with the City Police Youth Committee, launched a tree planting campaign, contributing to creating a green, clean, and beautiful landscape along the central roads of the commune.
