In the coastal region, several key tourism projects and new products have been launched, making the area even more attractive and drawing more tourists. Notably, Sam Son city received 198,200 visitors, Hai Tien tourist area welcomed 57,600 visitors, and Hai Hoa experienced Bai Dong beach in Nghi Son town with 47,300 tourists.

Ecotourism and community-based tourism continue to attract tourists, with 59,500 visitors to Pu Luong, Ba Thuoc district; 5,000 visitors exploring Cam Luong Fish Stream; and 3,000 visitors to the ecotourism area in Ben En.
Key historical sites attract tourists seeking spiritual experiences and opportunities to learn about and research history and culture. As a result, the Ho Dynasty Citadel World Heritage Site received 10,000 visitors; the Lam Kinh historical site attracted 4,800 visitors, and other destinations in Thanh Hoa city also garnered 43,600 visitors.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from August 31st to September 3rd, Thanh Hoa province welcomed 395,700 tourists, including 140,500 overnight visitors, accounting for 35.5% of the total number of visitors.
Notably, the Pu Luong tourist area achieved a 100% occupancy rate for accommodation; Thanh Hoa city achieved a 42% occupancy rate; Sam Son tourist area reached approximately 25%, Hai Tien over 35%; and Hai Hoa and Nghi Son town achieved over 33% occupancy rate for accommodation.
Over the four-day holiday period, Thanh Hoa province achieved a total tourism revenue of 870.5 billion VND, an increase of 31.3% compared to the same period in 2023; ensuring security, order, environmental hygiene, and food safety.
