On March 6, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union issued Decision No. 1214-QD/TWĐTN-TCKT on the establishment of the Government-level Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union issued Decision No. 1215-QD/TWĐTN-TCKT on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, Chairman, and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Government-level Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the period 2025-2027. This is an important milestone, marking the beginning of a Youth Union organization equivalent to the provincial level with 51 affiliated branches and more than 300,000 members working and studying in ministries, ministerial-level agencies; state-owned corporations, general companies, and commercial banks. 45 youth union officials have been selected and appointed to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and key positions of the Government Youth Union for the period 2025-2027.

Accordingly, Mr. Bui Hoang Tung, former Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Central Agencies Bloc, was appointed to the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Government for the period 2025-2027; Ms. Do Duc Hanh, former Standing Committee Member, Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee, and Head of the Organization and Inspection Department of the Youth Union of the Central Agencies Bloc, was appointed to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Government for the period 2025-2027; and Mr. Vu Huy Hoang, former Standing Committee Member, Inspection Committee Member, and Chief of the Office of the Youth Union of the Central Enterprises Bloc, was appointed to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Government for the period 2025-2027.
The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Government, comprising 45 Youth Union officials, was launched.
Mr. Bui Hoang Tung, Member of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Government Youth Union, stated: To effectively carry out the assigned tasks, the Government Youth Union Executive Committee is determined to strive to complete six key targets. Specifically: 3,500 new Party members will be admitted from 4,500 outstanding Youth Union members recommended to the Party; 5,600 topics, initiatives, and solutions will be applied in policy advice, business, services, production, and scientific research, recognized by Party committees and unit leaders; 4,300 youth projects at all levels will be implemented in the political and professional tasks of agencies, units, and enterprises; new rural development and sustainable development goals will be achieved; and 350 houses of compassion and charity will be supported in the construction of houses under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister. 600,000 new trees were planted towards the goal of NetZero by 2050; 85 billion VND was spent on social welfare activities and volunteer work for the community.

Mr. Lai Xuan Lam, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, emphasized: The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is the reliable reserve force of the Party, and today's young people in the Government will continue to contribute to the building of a strong, civilized, and prosperous country in the new era, the era of national progress. The Government Youth Union must take the lead in building a learning society, using knowledge as strength, transforming learning into a conscious effort, a self-driven need, and constantly striving to improve their professional skills, contributing effectively to the overall development of the country.
Delegates performed the ceremony to launch the emulation campaign to celebrate the Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 1st Party Congress of the Government, term 2025 - 2030.
The Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee expressed confidence that, with their enthusiasm, dynamism, and creativity, the youth of the Government will continue to uphold the fine traditions of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, making positive contributions to the building of an honest, proactive, constructive, and people-serving government; and will be a vanguard and creative force in the cause of building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
On this occasion, the Executive Committee of the Government Youth Union launched an emulation campaign to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels, leading up to the First Party Congress of the Government, term 2025-2030.
