Thanh Son has one more commune meeting new rural standards

Thach Khoan Commune, Thanh Son District has just been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting new rural standards in Decision No. 2119/QD-UBND dated October 28, 2024. Up to now, Thanh Son District has a total of 7/22 communes and towns meeting new rural standards.

People of Thach Khoan commune poured concrete on rural roads in Chieng Noi area.

According to the assessment report, Thach Khoan commune achieved 19/19 criteria, 57/57 new rural indicators according to regulations. The results of implementing some criteria and indicators reached high levels such as: Criterion No. 2 on traffic with 100% of roads asphalted to ensure convenient car travel all year round, the rate of hardening reached 85% of the requirement; Criterion No. 5 on schools with 3/3 schools achieving the rate of 100% of schools at all levels meeting national standards compared to the requirement; Criterion No. 11 on multidimensional poverty reduction with a rate of 2.42% multidimensional poverty rate compared to the requirement.

Thach Khoan Commune was awarded a Certificate of recognition by the Provincial People's Committee Chairman for meeting new rural standards and was awarded 1 billion VND to invest in and build welfare works.

Thanh Son District People's Committee coordinated with the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office to announce and publicize the title and continue to direct the maintenance and improvement of the quality of the criteria in the coming time.
