Thanh Son: Summary of Youth Union activities

On December 31st, the Youth Union and the Federation of Youth Associations of Thanh Son district held a meeting to summarize the work of the Youth Union and Associations and the youth movement in 2024; and to implement tasks for 2025.

Representatives from the Provincial Youth Union and Thanh Son District Party Committee presented certificates of commendation to collectives with outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth movements in 2024.

In 2024, the District Youth Union directed youth unions at all levels to achieve and surpass all 12 targets set. Implementing the 2024 work theme "Year of Volunteer Youth," revolutionary emulation movements and programs accompanying young people were implemented with a focus on key areas. In particular, activities such as Youth Month and Green Sunday, with many meaningful models implemented like: lighting up rural roads; reducing plastic waste in local markets; and youth-led economic development cooperatives... have brought many positive effects and created a widespread impact.

In addition, youth organizations from the district to the grassroots level have contributed hundreds of man-days to the construction and repair of rural roads; completed over 4km of new rural street lighting; built 17 "Children's Playgrounds"; 3 "Youth Tree Planting" projects; supported the construction of 2 "Houses of Compassion"; and donated hundreds of gifts to poor households and students in difficult circumstances...

Individuals received certificates of commendation for their outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth movements in 2024.

In 2025, the Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the district will continue to implement several key tasks: Continuing to propagate and educate young people on politics , ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and culture; developing forms and content for propaganda that are lively and suitable to the needs of young people.

Focus on diversifying activities to suit local conditions, promoting the role of youth union members in "Digital Transformation," and creating an attractive environment for young people to actively participate in revolutionary action movements through campaigns and emulation movements of the Party, the State, and the Youth Union . Alongside this, continue to cultivate outstanding youth union members to recommend to the Party; participate in providing feedback to the Party, and contribute to building a stronger Party and political system.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Vietnam Youth Union of the province, and certificates of commendation from the District Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the district for their outstanding achievements in Youth Union and Youth Movement activities in 2024.
