From his roles as Secretary of the Youth Union branch in Thuan An village, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Tam Anh commune, and now Secretary of the Youth Union of Tam Anh commune, Mr. Phat has always been enthusiastic in his work, understanding the psychology and needs of Youth Union members and young people to organize appropriate activities, actively demonstrating the pioneering role of youth in all movements. Through this, the Youth Union work and youth movements in the locality have been implemented effectively.
Mr. Phat expressed: "In the fast-paced life of today's 4.0 era, I always closely follow and understand the aspirations and thoughts of youth union members and young people, and from there, I advise and propose to the local authorities and relevant units to organize many specific and practical activities to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and effective humanitarian and charitable activities."
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Head of Thuan An village, Tam Anh commune, acknowledged that the youth union activities and youth movements led by Mr. Phat have made many practical contributions to the implementation of the National Target Program for building new rural areas in the locality. Notably, the youth union members here mobilized organizations and individuals in the area to contribute 25 million VND to install 12 solar-powered streetlights in Group 4, Thuan An model new rural village. Thanks to this, nighttime travel is more convenient, and security and order are ensured, making the people very happy.
Mr. Phat also mobilized union members and young people to participate in road construction, environmental sanitation, and "gratitude and repayment" activities; organized sugarcane juice stalls to raise funds "for our beloved younger generation"; and built 5 green houses to exchange empty cans for fundraising for small projects.
This activity raised nearly 30 million VND, which was used to purchase books and notebooks for outstanding students and school bags for disadvantaged students at the beginning of the new school year. From there, the local Youth Volunteer Club, with 35 members, regularly organizes fundraising activities for charity, while also creating a healthy environment for networking and interaction, further developing the youth movement.
During summer holidays, Mr. Phat mobilized teachers and students to organize free English classes and swimming lessons for students. With his active and enthusiastic participation and positive contributions to local activities, Mr. Phat received numerous commendations, certificates of merit, and awards. In 2024, Mr. Phat was one of the 100 outstanding youth union officials nationwide to receive the Ly Tu Trong Award.
Continuing to promote the pioneering spirit, he organized practical activities that were actively supported by youth union members. In 2025, Mr. Phat achieved the title of "Outstanding Performance"; and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Da Nang City for his outstanding achievements in youth union activities and youth movements.
Mr. Huynh Luong Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Anh commune, commented that Mr. Huynh Minh Phat deserves to be recognized as a youth leader, a model of youth studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh. He is always dynamic and creative in organizing practical activities that are close to and connected with young people, creating consensus in youth movements. Thanks to this, youth union activities and youth movements in the locality have developed comprehensively, continuously, and effectively.
