"Lighting up dreams" in Thien Trung commune

(ABO) The Tien Giang Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Tien Giang Province recently collaborated with the Thien Trung Commune Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Cai Be District to organize the 8th "Lighting Up Dreams" program with the theme "For Our Beloved Younger Siblings".

At the event, the Organizing Committee awarded one special scholarship of 2.7 million VND; five supplementary scholarships of 1 million VND each; and 66 gifts (each gift including a backpack, notebooks, and school supplies) to disadvantaged students of Thien Trung Primary and Secondary School.

The organizers presented gifts and scholarships to underprivileged students at the program.

The total cost of the program was over 30 million VND, raised by actor Trung Cang through the efforts of Anh Dung Linh and his friends in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as Mr. Phan Van Hao and other generous donors.
