| Bun bo Hue (Hue -style beef noodle soup) has been recognized as an intangible cultural heritage. |
Specifically, this includes the Bhươih Haro Tơme festival (New Rice Festival) of the Cơ Tu people in the communes of Nam Đông, Long Quảng, and Khe Tre in Huế City, and folk knowledge about Huế beef noodle soup.
These are unique cultural values closely linked to the daily life, beliefs, and traditional cuisine of the local people. Being recognized not only affirms the value of Hue's indigenous culture but also opens up opportunities for preserving, promoting, and widely disseminating these precious heritages to communities both domestically and internationally.
In these decisions, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigns the Chairpersons of the People's Committees at all levels where the newly announced intangible cultural heritage is located to, within their duties and powers, implement state management in accordance with the law on cultural heritage.
