More opportunities to promote tourism in Sa Pa.

As part of the event series "Meeting 2025: Lao Cai - A Center for Economic and Trade Connections between Vietnam and ASEAN Countries with Southwest China: Opportunities for Businesses and Investors," leaders from various departments and agencies, representatives from embassies, international organizations, Yunnan Province (China), along with many businesses and investors, visited and conducted on-site surveys at the Sa Pa National Tourist Area.

The image of Sa Pa with its beautiful nature and rich cultural identity left a positive impression on the delegations. This was an opportunity for Sa Pa to promote and showcase its potential, as well as open up many opportunities for tourism cooperation between businesses and the locality.

Arriving in Sa Pa on a day with favorable weather, the delegations were able to admire the beautiful natural scenery and many flowers in bloom. In particular, the delegates enjoyed many performances of songs, dances, and music rich in ethnic cultural identity, performed by singers and actors at Ban May (the cable car station). At Ban May, the delegates were introduced to the traditional culture, handicrafts, and living spaces of the ethnic minorities living in Sa Pa.

"Sa Pa is very beautiful, with stunning scenery, and the people here are very friendly. If I have the opportunity, I will return to Lao Cai and Sa Pa many more times. I see great potential for tourism development here, so I will introduce this place to my friends," commented Mr. Luc Si Vi, representative of Long Thinh Hung Investment Co., Ltd. Guangxi (China).

After sightseeing and experiencing activities in Bản Mây, the delegations moved on to the summit of Fansipan. The majestic natural scenery and the three-cable system leading to the "Roof of Indochina" impressed many delegates. In particular, the delegations witnessed the sacred flag-raising ceremony on the summit of Fansipan. Watching the national flag being hoisted and fluttering in the vast Northwest mountains at an altitude of 3,143 meters, not only the delegates but also many tourists present on the summit of Fansipan stood solemnly and sang the national anthem.

Following the sightseeing, experiential, and information-gathering activities regarding tourism in Sa Pa, Mr. Truong Loi, representative of Hong Viet Trading Co., Ltd. - Yunnan (China), stated: "Our company has introduced many Chinese tourist groups to Sa Pa - Lao Cai in the past. In the future, the company's leadership will continue to plan for cooperation and joint development of tourism products between the two sides."

With its advantageous landscapes, culture, and existing tourism potential, Sa Pa town has recently placed great importance on participating in activities connecting and cooperating with localities both domestically and internationally. Workshops and tourism promotion activities have contributed to showcasing Sa Pa as a town rich in potential, friendly, and hospitable. This visit and survey by delegations creates further opportunities for Sa Pa to promote its local tourism potential. Each delegate participating in this visit will be a "tourism ambassador," contributing to promoting and introducing the image of a beautiful, friendly, and hospitable Sa Pa to a wide range of domestic and international tourists. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to seek partners and investors for tourism development.
