Schools opening many new majors bring many choices for candidates.
The Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University has signed a decision agreeing to assign two member universities to coordinate in pilot training of university level Korean Business and Commerce.
Specifically, VNU-HCM assigned the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to coordinate with the University of Economics and Law to pilot university-level training in Korean Business and Commerce. This is the first interdisciplinary, inter-university training program at VNU-HCM.
By studying this program, students will be equipped with knowledge and skills to be able to communicate in Korean, understand Korean culture, history and people, Korean business and trade trends as well as knowledge of modern management and administration, thereby opening up many job opportunities, in line with the globalization trend, especially with Korean partners at Vietnamese and Korean agencies and enterprises.
Upon completing the Korean Business Administration program, if students meet the credit requirements, they can receive an additional regular Bachelor's degree in Korean Studies from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities or a regular Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Economics and Law.
It is expected that the Korean Business Administration will enroll students from 2024 with 50 quotas.
Gia Dinh University also opened 4 new majors in this year's enrollment period.
Master of Law Trinh Huu Chung, Vice Principal of Gia Dinh University, said that the school has just opened four new majors from this year's enrollment period, including: communication technology, financial technology, economic law and commercial business.
According to Mr. Chung, opening new majors is part of the school's development orientation, helping students have more opportunities to choose careers and grasp trends.
