During the past half term, the Women's Union at all levels of Tan Phuoc district has helped 1,992 members, poor women, 704 women heads of poor households and 273/100 women's households escape poverty (exceeding 173% compared to the resolution), 494/150 near-poor women's households escape poverty (exceeding 229% compared to the resolution), contributing to reducing the poverty rate of the district from 2.74% (in 2021) to 1.59% (by the end of 2023).

Of which, 442 poor and near-poor women households escaped poverty according to multidimensional criteria, contributing to the implementation of the Resolution of the Women's Congress of Tien Giang Province. The District Women's Union supported capacity building for 72/10 women who are business owners, cooperative managers, and business household owners (exceeding 620% of the resolution target)...
