Starting from the previous academic year, the High School for the Gifted has completely changed its admissions process. Most notably, it has stopped admitting students to non-specialized classes and opened additional specialized classes in specific fields, such as specialized classes in natural sciences and technology, and specialized classes in social sciences.

Specialized courses in natural sciences and technology will focus on enhancing interdisciplinary thinking skills in solving problems in fields such as natural sciences, life sciences, health sciences, technology, and the environment; while also applying information technology and artificial intelligence in combination with STEM education topics to guide career orientation.

Specialized courses in social sciences focus on enhancing interdisciplinary thinking skills in solving problems in fields such as culture, politics, economics, and society; while also applying information and communication technologies, knowledge of culture and people, and career orientation related to these fields (psychology, sociology, economics, journalism, law, etc.).
