At areas with deep flooding, the People's Committee of Dao Tru commune has placed warning signs and prohibited vehicles from passing through to ensure absolute safety.
On the night of September 29th and the early morning of September 30th, Dao Tru commune ( Phu Tho province) experienced heavy rain and strong winds due to the direct impact of Typhoon No. 10. Initial damage includes: 5 households flooded to a depth of 0.5–1m, over 51 hectares of crops waterlogged, 4 fish ponds overflowing, over 100 poultry swept away, and 60m of irrigation canal collapsing.
The People's Committee of the commune has urgently deployed the "four on-the-spot" forces, mobilized the police and military to be on duty 24/7, relocated households in dangerous areas, and erected warning signs at flooded points to ensure the safety of the people. Currently, heavy rain continues, the risk of flooding and landslides persists, and the local authorities continue to be on standby at vulnerable points.
The Dao Tru commune authorities are assisting residents in cleaning up their homes and addressing the initial damage.
The Dao Tru commune authorities are continuing to direct forces to be on duty and guard at critical points, especially the underpasses, spillways, and two dams in the area. Currently, the top priority is addressing the damage and stabilizing the lives of the people.
