During the training exercises, officers and soldiers thoroughly grasped the content and intentions of combat, the principles of tactics and techniques, and flexibly applied actions that closely reflected actual combat situations, ensuring safety. This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

With a vibrant spirit of emulation, the agencies, units, and individuals under the Command of Zone 6 - Con Dao Special Zone actively concretized the emulation targets and contents into reality, becoming a powerful driving force to promote the sense of responsibility, the will to excel, and the aspiration to contribute of each officer and soldier in the unit. Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Chung, Political Commissar of the Command of Zone 6 - Con Dao Special Zone, said: “As a newly established unit, we determined that implementing the emulation movement must be linked to the task of stabilizing the organization and personnel, focusing on building a regular and disciplined system, and building a strong, comprehensive, exemplary, and outstanding agency and unit.”

Leaders of the Command of Defense Zone 6 - Con Dao Special Zone presented gifts to families entitled to preferential policies in the area.

The Party Committee and Command of the 6th Special Zone of Con Dao identified the need to strengthen leadership in effectively carrying out propaganda, education , and ideological guidance for officers and soldiers to ensure their peace of mind in their work; improve the quality of training and combat readiness; and effectively conduct civilian affairs and policy work in the area. Accordingly, subordinate units consistently adhere to the motto "Basic, practical, and solid," prioritizing comprehensive and in-depth training, with officer training as the key element and tactical training as the focus. Each training content is implemented systematically and scientifically, with an emphasis on night training and training under conditions closely resembling actual combat.

Propaganda and education work has been implemented comprehensively with various forms and methods to transform the awareness and actions of all cadres, Party members, and soldiers, encouraging them to diligently fulfill their assigned tasks. In addition to regular propaganda, the unit also utilizes an internal broadcasting system; integrates content about Party congresses at all levels into exchanges, seminars, and democratic dialogues, helping cadres and soldiers easily access and remember knowledge, and strengthen their faith; and organizes visits and revolutionary tradition education at the Con Dao Prison National Special Historical Site to cultivate patriotism and revolutionary heroism among cadres and soldiers.

In addition, the Command of Military Zone 6 - Con Dao Special Zone also organized activities to honor wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs, meritorious individuals, and former political prisoners of Con Dao; coordinated with the local authorities to implement the "Green Saturday" model to clean up the environment and encouraged people not to litter in the sea... According to Lieutenant Colonel Ma Le Thanh Phuong, Commander of the Command of Military Zone 6 - Con Dao Special Zone, the unit launched and implemented the high-intensity emulation campaign "Raising the Red Flag High in August - Competing for 3 Best Achievements". Every officer, party member, and soldier must clearly demonstrate a pioneering and exemplary spirit, determined to successfully achieve the emulation targets, creating a new momentum and motivation towards welcoming the City Military Party Congress with deep affection and belief.
