Weather forecast from April 19-29
On April 20, the mountainous and midland areas of the North, provinces from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen, the Central Highlands and the South experienced widespread heat waves, with the highest temperatures commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places exceeding 37 degrees Celsius.
From April 21, the heat wave will spread to the entire Northern region (including Hanoi). Forecast of the highest temperature of the day:
Northern region (including Hanoi) 35–36 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius; Central region 36–38 degrees Celsius, the highest place can be above 38 degrees Celsius; Southern region 35–37 degrees Celsius
The heat wave in the North may last until April 22; in the Central region it may last until April 23; in the South it may continue for many days.
On April 23-25, the North is likely to have showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain; later, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places, the temperature will decrease, and the hot weather will temporarily end. From April 26, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places.
On May 24, the heat in the Central region will also be mild, the heat will be limited and only appear locally; in the North Central region, there will be showers and thunderstorms, some places will have heavy rain. From April 25, in the late afternoon and at night, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places; during the day, it will be sunny, some places will be hot.

In the North, there will be little rain and temperatures will increase slightly; around May 3-4, there may be localized heat waves.
The Central region continues to experience hot weather, but not as severe as in late April.
The South continues to have widespread heat, with temperatures ranging from 34-37 degrees Celsius.
