At the discussion session, there were 13 delegates speaking, their opinions basically agreed on the need to invest in a road project from National Highway 27C to provincial road DT.656 Khanh Hoa province connecting with Lam Dong and Lam Dong province. Delegates also commented on forest conversion and afforestation to ensure persuasiveness and biodiversity; preliminary total investment, capital sources allocated for the project, capital structure of central and local governments; investment divergence; commitment to allocate local capital, capital absorption capacity, capital disbursement, completion schedule, mechanisms and policies for project investment implementation; conditions to complete the project on schedule and with quality assurance. Regarding the adjustment of investment policy of Ka Pet Reservoir project, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province, the delegates focused on discussing: land use plan for forest conversion; afforestation instead; the allocation and use of capital for the project; feasibility and commitment to allocate local capital, implementation time, project completion schedule; mechanisms and policies for the project.
At the end of the discussion session, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung on behalf of the drafting agency explained and clarified a number of issues raised by the National Assembly deputies.
