Authorities seized over 100kg of food of unknown origin.

In the first two days of June 2026, the Chi Ma Border Gate Border Guard Station, in coordination with other functional units, discovered and seized nearly 40kg of sausages and 75kg of pork offal of unknown origin in the border area.

According to information from the Chi Ma Border Gate Border Guard Station ( Lang Son province), at approximately 11:30 AM on June 2nd, in the inter-village road area of ​​Mau Son commune (Lang Son), a task force from the Chi Ma Border Gate Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Chi Ma Border Gate Customs and the Mau Son Commune Police, discovered a motorcycle transporting 75kg of frozen pork offal of unknown origin and without legal documentation, from the area of ​​marker 1228 to Quan Phat village, Mau Son commune.

The person transporting the goods, Hoang Van Duc (born in 1994, residing in Ban Gieng village, Mau Son commune, Lang Son province), confessed to the task force that he was hired by someone to transport the goods for a fee of 500,000 VND.

Earlier, at 7:45 PM on June 1st, in the inter-village area near the Quan Phat village cultural center in Mau Son commune, Lang Son province, a task force spotted a woman driving a motorbike with another woman riding behind her, traveling from the border towards Quan Phat village carrying suspicious-looking green sacks. The task force signaled them to stop for inspection.

The inspection process involved a black Yamaha Sirius motorcycle, license plate 12P1-22181, driven by Hoang Thi Thuy (born in 1996), with Lanh Thi Dung (born in 2002, both residing in Mau Son commune, Lang Son province) as a passenger.

The task force discovered two green plastic sacks on the motorcycle. (One sack was in front, and the woman behind was holding the other sack.)

Inside each sack were packages of sausages (frozen, uniformly packaged in 700g vacuum-sealed bags, with foreign language text printed on the packaging), of unknown origin. The total weight was approximately 40kg.

The two women confessed to the task force that they were hired by another woman, whose address and name were unknown, to transport the sausages. The route was from border marker 1126/1 in Chi Ma village to Quan Phat village (Mau Son commune). After completing the job, they would receive a payment of 90,000 VND.

The task force proceeded to draw up a record of administrative violations, and brought all individuals, evidence, and vehicles to the unit for processing and verification in accordance with the law.
