On December 26th, the Department of Criminal Investigation of Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling, and Environmental Crimes of the An Giang Provincial Police announced that, in coordination with other functional forces, they had caught red-handed a case of transporting prohibited goods, seizing 6,300 packs of smuggled cigarettes.

At Group 3, Xuan Hoa Hamlet, Tinh Bien Ward, An Giang Province, the Department of Criminal Investigation of Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling, and Environmental Crimes, in coordination with other functional forces, inspected and caught PTNA (born in 1991, residing at the above address) red-handed for possessing prohibited goods, specifically smuggled cigarettes.

During an emergency search of the suspect's residence, authorities seized 6,300 packs of smuggled cigarettes of various types, along with numerous documents, evidence, and electronic data related to the criminal activity.

Previously, several members of PTNA's family had been prosecuted and were serving sentences for trafficking in prohibited goods, specifically smuggled cigarettes.

Currently, the Department of Criminal Investigation of Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling, and Environmental Crimes is continuing to investigate, clarify, and handle the suspects in accordance with the law.
