Two dietary supplements under the Nature's Own brand are being urgently recalled.

The Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has issued an urgent recall warning for two Nature's Own brand dietary supplement products after discovering a potential risk of glass fragments being present inside the product containers.

On the afternoon of June 4th, the Food Safety Department ( Ministry of Health ) announced that on the same day, the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) issued an urgent recall warning for two dietary supplement products under the Nature's Own brand after discovering the potential presence of glass fragments inside the product containers.

The TGA emphasizes that any glass fragments (if present) are not inside the tablets, but may be in the bottle. The two specific products being recalled are Nature's Own glucosamine sulfate with chondroitin (320 tablets), batch number 1662937; expiry date April 2028, and Nature's Own magnesium glycinate 1150 mg (300 tablets), batch number 1665576, also with an expiry date of April 2028.

These two products are distributed by Sanofi consumer healthcare (part of the Sanofi Group) and will be widely available in Australia from May 7, 2026.

In Vietnam, a search of product registration data reveals that the Food Safety Department has not issued product registration certificates for the aforementioned products.

To ensure consumer health, the Food Safety Department has sent a letter to the health departments, food safety departments, and food safety sub-departments of provinces and cities, requesting them to urgently review the registration and self-declaration of the aforementioned products.

Work with the company that announced the aforementioned products (if any), request that the company notify distributors and consumers to stop using the products and proceed with the recall as recommended by the manufacturer, report (quantity, imported, quantity sold, quantity remaining) and propose measures for handling the product batches based on the recall information mentioned above.
