Vietnamese Language Challenge: 'Soi mói' or 'xoi mói'?

Many of us have made spelling mistakes in Vietnamese at times, or struggled to find the correct spelling. "Soi mói - xoi mói" is one such example.

In Vietnamese, this word describes the act of observing, judging, nitpicking, mocking, or criticizing others. This action is often malicious and carries a negative connotation.
