Promoting relations between Hanoi Capital

On the morning of August 27, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai chaired a reception for the Party Inspection Committee - Government Inspectorate of Vientiane Capital (Lao PDR), led by Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Head of the Party Inspection Committee - Government Inspectorate of Vientiane Capital Virasack Nammountry, who came to pay a courtesy visit on the occasion of a working visit to Hanoi.

Attending the reception were members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee: Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee Hoang Trong Quyet, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee Vu Duc Bao; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ha Minh Hai.

Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai received the delegation of the Party Inspection Committee - Government Inspectorate of Vientiane Capital (Lao PDR), led by Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Party Inspection Committee - Government Inspectorate of Vientiane Capital Virasack Nammountry.

Speaking at the reception, Head of the Party Inspection Committee - Government Inspectorate of Vientiane Capital Virasack Nammountry expressed his condolences and sympathies on the passing of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong. At the same time, he thanked the Hanoi Party Committee for the warm welcome during this visit.

Comrade Virasack Nammountry emphasized the expectation that the cooperation between the two inspection agencies of the City Party Committee will become a bright spot in the cooperation between the capital Vientiane and the capital Hanoi and continuously contribute positively to the relationship between the two countries.

Informing that the capital Vientiane is making efforts to prepare for the successful organization of the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and related Summits, scheduled to take place from October 8 to 11, 2024, Comrade Virasack Nammountry emphasized that 2024 is also the national tourism year of Laos, with many major activities and events, so the capital Vientiane is determined to successfully organize major activities, bringing good impressions to international friends.

Comrade Virasack Nammountry wished that the capital Hanoi, under the leadership of the Secretary of the City Party Committee, will continue to develop strongly, become rich, beautiful, civilized and modern.

Thanking the sharing of the Chairman of the Party Inspection Committee - Government Inspectorate of Vientiane Capital Virasack Nammountry, Secretary of the City Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai reaffirmed the importance of the long-standing close neighborly relationship between Vietnam and Laos. In which, the Secretary of the City Party Committee reiterated the words of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong: "The solidarity, cooperation and mutual assistance between Vietnam and Laos is an objective law, a vital factor of each Party and each country. At the same time, it is a priceless common asset and a foundation for the two countries to promote in the next historical stages" and expressed joy at the changes, growth and great achievements of the two countries, including the strong development of the capitals of Hanoi and Vientiane, with increasingly deep friendship. According to Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai, in recent times, the capital Hanoi and the capital Vientiane have had many meaningful cooperation and exchange activities, especially in cooperation between specialized agencies of the two sides. Stating that the Party's inspection work has always been a leadership function of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee also affirmed that discipline and order are vital principles and "there are no forbidden areas", emphasizing that this viewpoint is guaranteed at the Hanoi Party Committee.

Appreciating the desire to learn from the experience of the Party Inspection Committee - Government Inspectorate of Vientiane Capital, comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai suggested that the Hanoi Party Committee Inspection Committee actively and extensively share experiences in working sessions, especially in training inspection staff at all levels. At the same time, learn more useful experiences from the other side, thereby continuously building clean and strong Party agencies on both sides.

The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee affirmed that, in the spirit of being both comrades and brothers, Hanoi will create the most favorable conditions for the professional agencies of the two capitals to strengthen cooperation, thereby promoting the Hanoi-Vientiane relationship, contributing to nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos to continue to develop sustainably and go deeper.
