At the beginning of 2025, SIU's Hotel Management students embarked on a special internship program at high-end resorts in Mui Ne (Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province).

Internship in a resort paradise
Not only in the classroom, but also during the Hotel and Resort Internship course, students from Saigon International University (SIU) directly immersed themselves in the professional environment of leading resorts in Mui Ne such as Sea Links City, The Cliff Resort & Residences, Saigon Emerald Resort, and Sunrise Resort.
Throughout the journey, students directly observe and practice business processes in departments such as: reception, restaurant, housekeeping,...
Exposure to various hotel and resort models helps students broaden their thinking, gain a deeper understanding of operational standards, and develop a comprehensive perspective on the high-end service industry.
Internship activities also provide students with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the intensity of real-world work, hone their ability to observe details, and develop flexible thinking in handling situations.
SIU students also meet and listen to senior managers to better understand the requirements of the labor market.
Through practical sharing sessions, students learn more about operating processes, human resource management, branding and industry standards.
Mai Nguyen Song Thu, a final-year student majoring in Hotel Management at SIU, shared: "Each internship trip helps me better understand my strengths and learn from and connect with employers."

Learning from practice - Developing professional thinking
The tourism and hospitality industry in Vietnam is on the rise.
With the goal of providing high-quality human resources for society, the SIU Hotel Management training program is designed according to international standards, closely integrating theory and practice.
The collaboration between SIU and hotels, resorts, and restaurants across provinces and cities creates opportunities for students to receive "early career guidance."
Accordingly, from their first year, SIU students have the opportunity to visit and gain practical experience at high-end restaurants and hotels such as: Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, The Reverie Saigon, Pullman Saigon Centre, Park Hyatt Saigon, New World Saigon, Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81…
Students are also given the opportunity to practice right at school with a professional simulation room system.
The Housekeeping and Front Office - Bartender - F&B practice areas are designed to meet industry standards, allowing trainees to familiarize themselves with and adapt to the real-world work environment before joining the company.
The fully equipped Asian-European culinary practice area is one of the "classrooms" for SIU students.
This field of study also attracts a large number of students due to its outstanding advantages in terms of learning environment, academic events, extracurricular activities, and diverse clubs.
Through this program, students can hone their event organizing skills, teamwork abilities, and develop creative thinking in a multicultural environment, along with a strong foundation in English to prepare them for integration.
In particular, when studying Hotel Management, students have the opportunity to participate in a 2+2 university exchange program with César Ritz Colleges Switzerland (CRCS) in Switzerland - a country renowned as the cradle of hospitality education in the world .
Based on their GPA at SIU, students can receive scholarships of up to 30% of tuition fees at CRCS, thereby opening doors to attractive study and career opportunities in the hospitality industry globally.

With a network of partnerships with 105 businesses and organizations across various sectors, students admitted to the Hotel Management program will receive corporate-sponsored scholarships covering up to 30% of the tuition fee for the entire course (worth approximately 78.65 - 90.65 million VND per scholarship).
Notably, this scholarship does not require annual maintenance.
In addition, based on one of the criteria such as academic transcript scores, high school exam results, Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment scores, international certificates (SAT and IELTS) or achievements in national and international cultural and sports activities, upon admission, students will have the opportunity to receive scholarships worth up to 100% of the full course tuition.
