Nguyen Thuy Linh has risen to 26th in the BWF women's singles rankings, up 1 place from her previous achievement. This is not the highest ranking she has ever achieved in her career (20).
After participating in several tournaments in Europe, Thuy Linh returned to Vietnam to continue training at the Bac Ninh National Sports Training Center, preparing for the 2025 Asian Badminton Championships in April.

Thùy Linh's teammate, Vũ Thị Trang, is struggling to maintain consistent form. In the latest update, the 32-year-old player has dropped 10 places, to 136th in the world rankings. In the men's singles rankings, Nguyen Hai Dang has made a significant improvement, rising to 61st in the world, and is also the highest-ranked Vietnamese male player in the BWF.
Another Vietnamese male badminton player, Le Duc Phat, remains ranked 64th in the world. He recently participated in the Vietnam International Challenge 2025 but did not achieve the desired result.
