Striker Nguyen Tien Linh has lost his joint top scorer title in the V-League 2024-2025 after the league organizers reviewed the data.

At noon on June 27th, the tournament organizers released official information regarding the number of goals scored by each team and player.

Previously, striker Nguyen Tien Linh (Binh Duong) was confirmed to have shared the "Top Scorer" title with Alan Sebastiao ( Hanoi Police) and Lucas Vinicius (Hai Phong), both with 14 goals. This is the first time the tournament has had three players tied for the most goals.

However, after reviewing the professional statistics of the V-League 2024-2025, the organizers confirmed that only Alan Sebastiao and Lucas Vinicius are joint "Top Scorers" with 14 goals each.

Meanwhile, Tien Linh only has 13 goals. This is because the goal in the 90+3 minute of the match between B.Binh Duong and Hai Phong in round 25 was counted as an own goal from a clearance by defender Bui Tien Dung (Hai Phong).

It's a shame for Tien Linh, but he can still take some comfort in the fact that he's still the top domestic scorer in the V-League 2024-2025. The two second-highest-scoring domestic strikers are Nguyen Xuan Son and Nguyen Van Quyet, both with 7 goals.
