The sunny summer brings joy to many beaches. In recent days, many tourists have visited the coastal resorts in Thanh Hoa, although the major coastal resorts such as Sam Son, Hai Tien, and Hai Hoa will not officially open until the end of April 2023.

Tourists excitedly returning to the beaches is an opportunity for the Thanh Hoa tourism industry and coastal localities to organize services and do business reasonably to increase revenue to compensate for the deficit in several tourist seasons affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Particularly for the Sam Son beach tourism area, this summer has become very special, when the opening program of the 2023 beach tourism festival was organized by the Sam Son City People's Committee in coordination with the Sun Group Joint Stock Company in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Sam Son urban area. This is a milestone affirming the maturity and growth of the coastal tourism urban area, and moreover, of the entire Thanh Hoa tourism industry. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for the city to enhance its image, one of which is to build more and promote more widely its strong, unique tourism products with outstanding values from the blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine.

Developing marine tourism is one of the strategic orientations of Thanh Hoa. To promote and improve the effectiveness of tourism, the province has issued a tourism development program and has been implemented by the tourism industry and localities into many projects and programs. However, awareness and resources for tourism development, especially marine tourism with short duration, still have many issues that need to be paid more attention, in which it is especially necessary to change the mindset of the people, so that the image of marine tourism becomes more beautiful and perfect. The short-term tourism mindset and the bad images in the approach to tourists need to be changed sooner and more thoroughly.

In recent times, the authorities in coastal localities, especially in Sam Son, have made great efforts in directing and operating, with many strong measures, but have not yet immediately ended the bad image in tourism. Entering the new coastal tourism season, coastal tourist areas in Thanh Hoa are making efforts to put on a new look, conveying messages to welcome new visitors, in which we see a desire, bringing with it hope.

A bright summer promises beaches filled with the laughter of tourists has begun. Welcome the new day sun and let's welcome new opportunities with innovative thinking, so that sad stories do not recur.
