She not only plans and drafts documents but also listens and shares with each member to promptly "prescribe and treat" the unspoken concerns of the women. A message of inquiry, a small gift sent at the right time, or sometimes just an encouraging smile—all are enough to make members feel cared for. It is these simple things that have helped the women's movement at the Military Medical Academy avoid the "disease" of formalism and give it more vitality.

When the Covid-19 pandemic struck and became increasingly complex, Comrade Do Thi Mai Hoa became the "spiritual vaccine maker" for the collective. With the motto: "Each member is a soldier; each family is a fortress," she and her colleagues mobilized nearly 3 billion VND in cash and medical supplies to send to the front lines; she also advised and proposed to superiors to launch a campaign for women's associations in units under the Academy to join hands with the people in consuming agricultural products during the pandemic... Each small action, combined, formed a comprehensive "healthcare plan" for the movement. Some nights, she stayed up all night on the phone, constantly calling to connect with each contact. Sometimes, while holding her young child, she would discuss how to receive and transport medical supplies to the front lines. "I only thought about how to ensure that the brothers out there had enough masks and protective gear; personal matters could wait," Comrade Hoa recounted. In addition, Comrade Hoa also wrote many articles promoting exemplary women on the front lines, so that stories of sacrifice, courage, and humanity would spread like a tonic to boost community confidence.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Mai Hoa, for the women's movement to be strong, it needs "nourishment," which is joy. Therefore, she is always dedicated to every activity of the association's work, actively creating opportunities for female officers and members to interact, connect, express themselves, and cultivate knowledge and life skills through cultural and artistic activities, sports , and charitable programs and work.

Comrade Hoa's dedication has been recognized with many prestigious titles: "Outstanding Female Cadre" (periods 2016-2021, 2021, 2024); commendations from the General Political Department and the Ministry of National Defense ; and recognition as an exemplary advanced female officer in the military for the period 2020-2025. But for Comrade Hoa, the greatest reward is seeing the women's movement at the Academy increasingly widespread and attractive to a large number of women.
