Nearly 300 units of blood were collected in the "Drop of Red Blood in the Ancient Capital" voluntary blood donation program.

On November 15th, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, in coordination with Bao Viet Life Insurance Company Ninh Binh and four colleges and universities in the area, organized the "Drop of Red Blood in the Ancient Capital" voluntary blood donation program.

With the message "Joining hands in volunteering - Sharing drops of loving blood," the program attracted more than 300 officials, civil servants, employees, union members, youth, workers, and volunteers from Ninh Binh Bao Viet Life Insurance Company; Hoa Lu University; Lilama College; Viet Xo Construction and Mechanical Engineering College; and Ninh Binh Mechanical Engineering College. As a result, nearly 300 units of blood were received by the Provincial General Hospital to promptly meet the blood needs for emergency care and treatment of patients at medical facilities.

Over the years, thanks to effective propaganda and mobilization efforts, the blood donation movement in our province has achieved many outstanding results. Our province has consistently met and exceeded its set targets. From now until the end of 2023, several localities and units will complete their planned blood donation drives. It is estimated that in 2023, the entire province will receive 12,300 units of blood, exceeding the provincial target by 37%.
