Ready to support students taking exams.
Having participated in the "Supporting Students During Exam Season" program for five consecutive years, Ms. Ngoc Thi Chau Nam, Secretary of the Youth Union in Loah - Ta Vai village, considers this a meaningful activity to spread the spirit of sharing with the community. For her, the greatest joy each exam season is contributing to supporting students in remote areas, giving them more confidence and favorable conditions to enter this important exam.
“Some students live very far from the exam location, and transportation is difficult. When they receive support with accommodation, meals, or transportation, they feel more at ease and can focus on their exams. We hope that they will feel the support of the youth union members, thereby giving them more motivation to pass the exam well,” Ms. Nam shared.
That spirit is also the goal that the A Luoi 4 Commune Youth Union aims for when implementing the "Supporting Students During Exams" program in 2026 at the Truong Son Secondary and High School exam site. According to Nguyen Dac Hinh, Secretary of the A Luoi 4 Commune Youth Union, the unit has proactively developed a plan to support candidates with many practical activities. During the exam period, Youth Union members will provide cakes, milk, and drinks; arrange lunch and resting places for candidates between exam sessions. For those who live far away or have difficulty traveling, the A Luoi 4 Commune Youth Union is also ready to provide transportation when needed.
Mr. Nguyen Dac Hinh stated that many candidates in the locality live in remote areas and have to travel long distances to take the exam. Therefore, carefully preparing support measures will help alleviate difficulties for families, allowing the students to feel secure and confident entering the examination room. The program is expected to further motivate students from mountainous regions to perform well in the upcoming exam.
In Thuan Hoa ward, the "Supporting Students During Exams" program for 2026 is being implemented urgently. According to Nguyen Hong Vinh, Secretary of the Ward Youth Union, there are 5 exam locations in the ward, so the unit plans to establish 5 support points; each point will have approximately 30 Youth Union members and young people participating in providing assistance.
In addition to providing free drinking water to candidates and their families, volunteer teams will assist in providing information about accommodation and rest areas, guiding candidates, and coordinating the handling of any unforeseen situations throughout the examination period.
Providing support before, during, and after the exam.
Not only in A Luoi 4 or Thuan Hoa, but preparations for the 2026 "Supporting Students During Exams" program are being implemented simultaneously throughout Hue City. According to the plan of the Hue City Youth Union, the program will be organized in all 40 communes and wards and all examination centers in the city, aiming to support students participating in the 10th grade entrance exam, the high school graduation exam, as well as aptitude and thinking skills assessment exams.
With the message "Happy Exam Season," this year's program focuses not only on supporting candidates during the exam days but also on accompanying them throughout the entire process, from preparation to after the exam concludes. Before the exam, youth union branches at all levels intensified their efforts in providing college admissions counseling, career guidance, exam preparation support, and psychological counseling. Simultaneously, they reviewed and provided support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, students in remote areas, students with disabilities, or those at risk of missing the exam due to economic circumstances.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoai, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City and Secretary of the Hue City Youth Union, said that the program will accompany candidates before, during, and after the exam. During the exam period, volunteer teams will provide drinking water, meals, and transportation for disadvantaged candidates, while also coordinating to ensure traffic safety and handle any arising situations. After the exam, students will continue to receive support for enrollment, accommodation placement, "Supporting Students to School" scholarships, and assistance in adapting to the new learning environment.
"The simultaneous implementation of the program in localities not only contributes to supporting candidates with more favorable conditions for taking the exam but also promotes the pioneering and volunteer spirit of the city's youth, working together to create a safe, friendly, and sharing exam season," shared Nguyen Thanh Hoai, Secretary of the Hue City Youth Union.
