Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chairman of the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA), said that the world is undergoing a strong transformation under the impact of AI. Vietnam has also identified AI as one of its strategic technologies to focus on developing.
He reported that Amazon used AI agents to help reduce inventory by 40%, and Google reduced energy consumption by 15%. Even in Ho Chi Minh City, a translation company reduced its staff by 70%, a publishing company saved 30% on editing costs, and businesses closed their branch offices and customer service departments.
"Applying AI is not just about buying technology, but a comprehensive restructuring journey that requires innovative thinking and transformation from the human resources within the enterprise," Mr. Khoa said.
