Overview of Tran Thi Thu's biography

Tran Thi Thu was born in 1991 in Nghia Trung, Tu Nghia, Quang Ngai . Born into a family in a poor rural area, from a young age, she had to help her family to raise her younger siblings to go to school.

At the age of 15, Thu had to drop out of school to go to work. However, this was also the time when the golden girl of Vietnamese women's football fell in love with the round ball.

During a district-level tournament, with her talent for playing football, Tran Thi Thu quickly caught the eye of scouts from Ho Chi Minh City Club. Thu's talent completely convinced the team's coaches and they offered to bring her to the academy.

At the youth team of Ho Chi Minh City Club, Tran Thi Thu quickly integrated and showed herself with a brave playing style and was not afraid of collisions.

After many years of hard work and training, the results have come, she gradually became a pillar of the team and was officially called up by coach Mai Duc Chung to the Vietnam team to participate in the 2017 SEA Games. In the national team jersey, Tran Thi Thu achieved her first achievement with the SEA Games Gold Medal.

Currently, Tran Thi Thu is playing as a defender for Ho Chi Minh City Women's Football Club I and the Vietnam women's national team.
