Signing ceremony of cooperation memorandum between Hanoi Karatedo Federation and Vietnam Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA)
This afternoon, March 26, 2024, at the headquarters of the Hanoi Karatedo Federation, a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Hanoi Karatedo Federation and the Vietnam-Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA) took place.
Accordingly, the two sides agreed on cooperation contents such as: supporting each other in developing karate in activities of establishing training programs, training, competitions, and performances in Hanoi and Japan; organizing training programs on physical training, nutrition, and sports health care; introducing sports equipment between the parties to better serve the training work.
The cooperation between the Hanoi Karate Federation and FAVIJA also strengthens cooperation in participating in mass sports activities and community activities in general between the two parties; organizes and introduces training programs to grant professional certificates at all levels in karate between the two parties, specialized and advanced training programs; introduces and nominates students from both parties to participate in study and research.
The signing of the cooperation agreement opens up more opportunities in developing training, coaching and competition programs for athletes, coaches and karate referees in Hanoi in particular and the whole country in general.
Both sides expect that after this cooperation, the two sides will also have more opportunities to cooperate in building and introducing scholarship programs for students; and cooperate in organizing summer camps to promote and spread Vietnamese and Japanese culture in each country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Doan Dinh Long, Chairman of the Hanoi Karatedo Federation, said: "After a year of operation, the federation is gradually stabilizing its apparatus, building effective training, coaching and coaching projects to serve professional development. In addition, the federation also focuses on cooperation with domestic and foreign agencies, units and organizations to improve qualifications, expand models of cultural, sports and educational cooperation to innovate and create in line with the general development trend of the world."
Mr. Do Quang Ba, Chairman of FAVIJA also said: "The cooperation between the two sides will create valuable cultural products, improve professional qualifications, and improve physical fitness to better serve society. More specifically, karate is a traditional sport of Japan but is being practiced and competed by many young Vietnamese people. Hopefully, with the cooperation between the two sides, the quality and competition results of Vietnamese karate in the international arena will be increasingly better."
The Hanoi Karate Federation was established under Decision No. 1150/QD-UBND dated February 22, 2023 of the Hanoi People's Committee. With the mission of developing the karate training movement, improving the qualifications of coaches, athletes, and referees in Hanoi in particular and contributing to the further development of karate nationwide in general.
