This grand event not only marks the 79th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Sports and Physical Education ngành and the day President Ho Chi Minh wrote the article "Physical Education and Health" (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025), but also strongly affirms the spirit of "Being healthy to build a career and defend the country" of the city's people.
The 2025 Olympic Run is one of the key events within the framework of the "National Movement for Physical Training Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh". With two routes of 2 km and 4.5 km, athletes will stride along central city streets such as Le Duan, Cong Xa Paris, Dong Khoi, Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Hue, Pasteur... and finish at the City Theater.
A vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere permeated every corner. From students, civil servants, the elderly, and members of the armed forces to businesspeople and artists, everyone came together to create a meaningful sports festival.
This year's event is particularly special thanks to the support of Sacombank , one of the main sponsors. At the 2025 Olympic Run Day, Mr. Tran The Thuan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, reread President Ho Chi Minh's "Call to the entire nation to exercise." This call is not only a reminder of the importance of physical training, but also a great source of motivation for each citizen to work together to build a healthy and united community.
