On the afternoon of January 2nd, the ceremony announcing the establishment of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Youth Club took place at the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Youth Cultural Center.
This event marks a significant milestone in the development of grassroots sports , especially youth football, in the locality, opening up a new, sustainable, and long-term direction.
The launch ceremony was impressive, with the presence of leaders, partners, coaches, parents, and over 100 young athletes from the club.
The Ba Ria - Vung Tau Youth Club was formed on the foundation of inheriting the core players from the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau Police Football Club.
After Ba Ria - Vung Tau merged with Ho Chi Minh City, with the attention and support from leaders at all levels, especially the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Youth Center, the club was officially restructured and operates under a new name, with a clearer development direction, in line with the needs of youth football training here.
The core objective of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Youth Club is to build a healthy and beneficial sports environment for children in the U9, U11, U13, and U15 age groups.
In addition to focusing on football skills training, the club also aims to help children develop comprehensively in terms of physical and mental health, discipline, teamwork, and social communication skills.
Besides its training significance, the establishment of the club also contributes to promoting school football and community football in Ba Ria - Vung Tau. This creates opportunities to discover and nurture young talents with potential, gradually contributing resources to local football in the future.
With a solid foundation and clear direction, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Youth Club is expected to become a shining example in youth football training, contributing to nurturing passion and fulfilling the dreams of future generations of local players.
