Ho Chi Minh City cleans up land data.
Ho Chi Minh City is cleaning up its land data by issuing a detailed plan to implement the task of building and perfecting the land database, aiming to synchronize it with the national database on land, population, and taxes. This is considered an important step in the digital transformation and modernization of land management.
According to the plan, Ho Chi Minh City's land data cleanup project will review and clean up land data in 168 communes, wards, and special zones, corresponding to more than 5 million land parcels. Simultaneously, land use right certificates and property ownership certificates that have been issued but not yet updated into the system will also be collected, scanned, digitized, and restructured.
Upon completion, Ho Chi Minh City's land data, after being cleaned up, must be directly connected to the national land database, the national population database, the tax system, and several other key sectors. The verification rate must reach over 95% before October 30, 2025. Once the data is synchronized, administrative procedures related to land will be significantly streamlined.
Implementing agencies must clearly assign responsibilities, authority, timelines, and expected results, and coordinate closely in task implementation. Regular inspections, monitoring, and reporting of implementation results are necessary to promptly address any difficulties or obstacles that may arise.
