Currently, on social media platforms like Facebook and Zalo, many accounts are sharing fake posters and images promoting interest rate programs from banks.
Scammers will design and distribute posters with logos and colors similar to those of banks (such as Vietcombank ) and attractive interest rates to attract attention. These publications contain QR codes.
When customers scan the code, the phone will display a strange phone number or lead to a fake website. When customers contact the scammers, the fraudsters will impersonate bank employees to trick them into providing personal information, bank login information, and/or card information in order to steal money from their accounts.

Scammers are using fake bank interest rate posters with QR codes on social media to trick users into providing confidential information in order to steal their money.
To protect their own assets, consumers should absolutely avoid providing confidential information such as: card information, OTP codes, and login information for digital banking services to anyone; do not scan QR codes on publications of unknown origin or counterfeit products; and do not share these fake interest rate images with friends and relatives to avoid assisting malicious individuals in spreading false information.
