Ho Chi Minh City is adorned with flags and flowers to celebrate National Day on September 2nd.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee's plan for the September 2nd fireworks display, the high-altitude fireworks will be launched at the entrance to the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc City) with 1,500 high-altitude fireworks, 30 low-altitude fireworks displays, and 10 pyrotechnic displays. The low-altitude fireworks display will take place at Dam Sen Cultural Park (Ward 3, District 11) with 90 low-altitude fireworks displays. The fireworks will be launched from 9 PM to 9:15 PM on September 2nd.

To ensure safety and prevent traffic congestion, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transportation has banned all vehicles from entering certain roads surrounding the fireworks display locations.

Accordingly, from 6 PM to 11 PM on September 2nd, Ho Chi Minh City will prohibit all vehicles from entering Nguyen Hue Street (the section from Le Thanh Ton Street to Ton Duc Thang Street, District 1).

From 7 PM to 10 PM on September 2nd, all vehicles will be prohibited from entering the following roads to allow for the fireworks display:

– Le Loi Street (section from Dong Khoi to Pasteur).

– Dong Khoi Street (section from Nguyen Du to Ton Duc Thang).

– Ton Duc Thang Street (section from Nguyen Sieu to Vo Van Kiet).

– Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (section from Khanh Hoi Bridge to Hoang Dieu Street).

– Ham Nghi Street (section from Ho Tung Mau to Ton Duc Thang).

– Hai Trieu Street (section from Ho Tung Mau to Nguyen Hue).

– Ton That Thiep Street (section from Ho Tung Mau to Nguyen Hue).

– Huynh Thuc Khang Street (section from Ho Tung Mau to Nguyen Hue).

– Ly Tu Trong Street (section from Pasteur to Hai Ba Trung).

– Le Thanh Ton Street (section from Hai Ba Trung to Pasteur).

– Lam Son Square (from Hai Ba Trung to Dong Khoi).

– Dong Du Street (from Hai Ba Trung to Dong Khoi).

– Nguyen Thiep Street (section from Dong Khoi to Nguyen Hue).

– Mac Thi Buoi Street (from Hai Ba Trung to Nguyen Hue)

– The roads surrounding the Me Linh Square roundabout include Ngo Duc Ke (to Ho Tung Mau Street), Hai Ba Trung Street (to Mac Thi Buoi Street), Ho Huan Nghiep Street (to Dong Khoi Street), Phan Van Dat Street (to Mac Thi Buoi Street), and Thi Sach Street (to Dong Du Street).

– Ba Son Bridge, Khanh Hoi Bridge.

At the same time, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport suggested the following alternative routes:

Directions from Binh Thanh District to District 4: Nguyen Huu Canh (Binh Thanh District) → Ton Duc Thang → Nguyen Du → Cach Mang Thang Tam → Nguyen Thi Nghia → Nguyen Thai Hoc → Ong Lanh Bridge → Hoang Dieu → Nguyen Tat Thanh (District 4).

Directions from District 4 to Binh Thanh District: Nguyen Tat Thanh (District 4) → Hoang Dieu → Ong Lanh Bridge → Nguyen Thai Hoc → Nguyen Thi Nghia → Cach Mang Thang Tam → Nguyen Thi Minh Khai → Xo Viet Nghe Tinh (Binh Thanh District).

Directions from Thu Duc City to District 5: Vo Nguyen Giap (Thu Duc City) → Dien Bien Phu → Dinh Tien Hoang → Vo Thi Sau → Ba Thang Hai → Le Hong Phong (District 5).

Directions from District 5 to Thu Duc City: Le Hong Phong (District 5) → Dien Bien Phu → Vo Nguyen Giap (Thu Duc City).
