On June 1, Mr. Thanh was awarded a certificate of merit by the People's Committee of Xuan An Ward, Long Khanh City, for his action of picking up lost property and returning it to its owner.

Yesterday afternoon, when returning from work on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Xuan An Ward, Mr. Thanh picked up a handbag containing 3,700 USD, 5.5 million VND, an iPhone and two ATM cards.

Mr. Thanh contacted the police to find and return the car to its owner, Ms. Dao Thi My Anh, 42 years old, residing in Xuan An ward.
