The gray and black colors of the stone are quiet throughout the sky and earth. Vast rocky mountains and stone forests, and scarce water sources, yet emerge the dark green carpet of corn slopes and the solid green of ancient tea trees. Is that why the special flavor of Lung Phin tea always has a mysterious touch? Enjoy it even once and never forget it!
The spindly tea trees have tenacious roots drilled through many layers of rock, absorbing minerals and cultivating layers of loose but strong, thick leaves. Standing under the ancient tea tree, you can still see the sky, sometimes clear blue, sometimes cold gray. And the sunlight slanted through the mountains, hanging lazily on the treetops, filtering through each leaf. At night, the sky's dew and the cold air from the ice cover the tea stem. For hundreds of years, Lung Phin tea has remained faithful, sharing hardships with rocky mountains.
The H'Mong people in Lung Phin have lived with tea trees for generations, creating their own way of making tea. They never pick tea buds like other tea regions. You have to wait until the buds bloom into young leaves before gently harvesting them. The fire used to make tea is the corn stalks that have passed the harvest season. This type of fuel creates a fire that flares up like twinkling stars, and when it fades, it only leaves warmth enough to heat the tea petals to the point of fragrance, shining with a golden color crystallized from minerals. Very special !
Early tomorrow morning, next to the deep sweet Lung Phin teapot, listening to the scent of tea filled with distant memories coming from the ancient stone forests, we have contemplated many things. In Vietnam, there is no tea tree with a magical and strong life like Lung Phin tea!
