Responsibilities of young people

These days, the atmosphere leading up to the 14th National Party Congress is quite evident in the activities of the Youth Union across the country. Without fanfare or ostentatious displays, the activities are implemented in a way that is close to daily life and suits the rhythm of life for Youth Union members and young people.

One of the activities meticulously prepared by many Youth Union branches was the simultaneous flag-raising ceremony held on the morning of January 19th, just before the opening of the Congress. This was a highlight activity within the peak period of propaganda, demonstrating the unwavering affection and faith of Vietnamese youth towards the Party.

Besides the flag-raising ceremony, the Youth Union organized a series of activities themed "Proudly Marching Forward Under the Party Flag" from January 18th to 30th. The approach is quite familiar but adapted to suit modern life: members take photos of their branch activities, participate in volunteer work, capture images at historical sites and revolutionary landmarks, and then share them on social media with relevant keywords. These images often capture everyday moments, but they demonstrate the young people's commitment to the organization's activities.

Utilizing social media platforms was also implemented in a gentle and easy-to-participate manner. Caption templates like "The Party's Call to Arms" or the "Dance of the Call to Arms" challenge provided members with additional ways to express their feelings and thoughts about the Congress. For many young people, this was a familiar format, not creating a feeling of being subjected to imposed propaganda, but rather resembling a group activity, creating an atmosphere of excitement to welcome the Congress.

In various localities, the celebrations for the Congress were concretized through appropriate activities. In Thai Nguyen, many Youth Union branches organized visits for students and members to historical sites, allowing them to learn about the cultural and historical traditions of their homeland.

Alongside these are familiar yet practical volunteer activities: launching campaigns to clean up and beautify urban areas, protect the environment, support the people, and participate in digital transformation at the grassroots level. Leading up to the Congress, union members, students, and young people in many localities joined forces to collect waste, clean village roads and alleys, and hang Party flags and national flags along main roads.

The Party Congress is a major event, setting the direction for the country's development in the coming years. For young people, focusing on the Congress is demonstrated through concrete actions: studying better, living more responsibly, and readily participating in community activities. It is through these small, consistent actions that faith in and attachment to the Party and the country are naturally and sustainably nurtured.

When young people participate with a spirit of self-motivation and practical actions, the activities celebrating the Congress are not just a highlight of propaganda, but become a part of social life, adding to the positive atmosphere before the great national event.
