In response to the 2nd Dong Thap Lotus Festival in 2024, on May 19th, the Provincial Center for Trade, Tourism and Investment Promotion, in coordination with the Tam Nong District People's Committee and TropiAd Joint Stock Company, organized a trekking activity amidst the lotus season and Tram Chim National Park.
Athletes participate in a trekking activity amidst the lotus fields and bird sanctuary.
The event attracted more than 550 professional and amateur athletes, local residents, tourists, and tourism units from within and outside the province to participate in a walk of approximately 10km, from Tram Chim Road to Stop C4, Tram Chim National Park and back.
The trekking activity amidst the lotus blossoms of Tram Chim National Park aims to promote the image of Dong Thap's lotus flowers in general and the natural environment of the Tram Chim National Park Ramsar site in particular to domestic and international tourists.
