Paying tribute to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong through the electronic condolence book on the VNeID application

From July 24th, people can send condolences, express gratitude, and share memories of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the VNeID application through the electronic condolence book feature.

On July 24th, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (C06) of the Ministry of Public Security issued a notice stating that the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Public Security have agreed to implement an electronic condolence book on the VNeID application for accounts activated at level 2, so that people can express their condolences to the family of the General Secretary.

From July 24th, people can send condolences, express gratitude, and share memories of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the VNeID application through the electronic condolence book feature.

To do this, people follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Level 2 electronic identity account.

Step 2: On the home screen, click "Send condolences."

Step 3: On the electronic condolence book screen, fill in the title and content of your condolence message.

Step 4: Select the "Preview" button to see the content that will be sent.

Step 5: Select the "Send condolences" button.

Over the past period, the Ministry of Public Security has approved over 72 million VNeID accounts, deploying many utilities to serve citizens and businesses such as: deploying criminal record checks on VNeID, deploying the use of driver's licenses and vehicle registration integrated into VNeID for traffic participation; deploying temporary residence registration and integrating social security accounts; using VNeID accounts to log in to the public service portal and many other utilities.

VNeID is not only an electronic identification account that helps citizens, ministries, departments, and localities in administrative procedure reform and online public services, but also a channel for conveying feelings, thoughts, and expressing aspirations of the people to the Party and State leaders.

The funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was held according to the national funeral protocol, taking place over two days, July 25th and 26th. The coffin of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was placed at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street ( Hanoi ).

The memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street (Hanoi), from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on July 25th and from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on July 26th.

The memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at 1 PM on July 26th at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street (Hanoi).

The funeral will take place at 3 PM on the same day at Mai Dịch Cemetery, Hanoi.

The memorial service and funeral ceremony for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong were held simultaneously at the Reunification Hall (Ho Chi Minh City) and in his hometown of Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district (Hanoi).
