The exhibition is a visual journey through the vibrant natural landscapes, culture, and heritage, utilizing modern 3D mapping technology with interactive sensors, taking the public on a quest to discover Vietnamese cultural values from a fresh, lively, and emotionally rich perspective.

In her opening remarks, Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Director of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Museum and the Vietnam Women's Museum, emphasized: The special feature of "Transition" lies in the meeting of cultural heritage and creative technology. Through 3D mapping projection art, interactive sensor systems, and modern storytelling language, seemingly familiar cultural values have been recreated in a new, vibrant, and more accessible form for contemporary audiences, especially young people.
Director Nguyen Thi Tuyet stated: "In recent years, the Party and State have identified the development of the cultural industry, digital transformation, and the application of science and technology in preserving and promoting heritage values as an important orientation. With that spirit, the Vietnam Women's Museum always strives to find new approaches to bring heritage closer to the public."
According to Ms. Tuyet: As a specialized cultural institution for women, the Vietnam Women's Museum has the mission of preserving, researching, displaying, and disseminating historical and cultural values within the family and society. At the same time, we aspire to become an open cultural space, connecting the past with the present, connecting generations, and promoting community participation in preserving and promoting national cultural values. “Through the exhibition ‘Transition,’ we hope to introduce to the public a new approach to heritage. Preservation is not just about keeping artifacts or stories of the past, but also about ensuring those values continue to live in the present and inspire the future. When technology is applied creatively and responsibly, it becomes an effective bridge helping the public, especially the younger generation, access heritage with interest, interaction, and direct experience,” Ms. Tuyet shared.

The organizers stated: The exhibition's title, "Transition," suggests the intersection of eras, where the past and present meet, dialogue, and continue to shape the future. The exhibition comprises three interconnected experiential spaces, like a journey through time.
Stage 1: Initiation - Primitive Vein
The first leg of the time travel journey: "The Beginning" recreates the world of the primordial beginnings. Each visitor will be immersed in the deep, pristine ocean, the vast forests, and the mystical vegetation. Each visitor's touch on a living creature will awaken life through an interactive TOUCH sensor system. This unlocks the most primal human emotions in the face of magnificent nature.
Stage 2: Sacred Roots - Cultural Heritage
Following the flow, the light condenses to touch the Sacred Root through the inspiration of the Bronze Drum imagery. At this stage, technology is told through a combination of visual and auditory experiences: the sound of the bronze drum – a sacred resonance connecting heaven and earth. Through ancient carvings, amidst the echoes of history, each visitor will feel the power of millennia flowing within them.
Stage 3: The Colors of the Times - The Veins of Heritage
Inspired by the Dong Ho folk paintings, Stage 3 brings to life the dreams and rustic charm of Vietnamese people from hundreds of years ago. Using creative graphic art on a foundation of modern 3D mapping technology, the entire room is transformed into a vibrant, colorful folk art space.

At Giao Thoi, visitors can experience becoming "guardians of heritage." Because heritage only truly lives when it is constantly reborn in the minds of future generations. When you touch the mapping wall, you are not just touching the light, you are touching the heartbeat of history, continuing the thread of Vietnamese heritage. The exhibition is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm, from June 24th to July 31st, 2026.
