Buon Ma Thuot City Police are expanding their investigation and handling of subjects in a gambling ring and gambling organization in the form of lottery numbers, on a very large scale.

After a long period of persistent monitoring and investigation, recently, Buon Ma Thuot City Police in coordination with the professional departments of the Provincial Police mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers divided into many teams to simultaneously inspect and catch 10 locations that were recording lottery numbers for gamblers. Thereby, the police force seized 16 mobile phones along with many documents and exhibits used in lottery recording activities; escorted 12 related subjects to the police headquarters to fight and clarify.

Objects related to the lottery line.
Police are taking statements from subjects related to the lottery recording ring.

Initially, the police determined that this lottery line was led by Nguyen Thi Bich Tram (born 1979, residing in Thanh Nhat ward, Buon Ma Thuot city); operating from the beginning of 2022 until now and has 25 participants. On average, each day, the subjects receive lottery numbers for gamblers with a total amount of over 200 million VND.

This is a very sophisticated lottery line, the subjects do not receive direct exposure but transfer it via text messages and social networks such as Viber, Zalo, Messenger, Telegram... At the end of the day, they will base on the lottery results of the Central and Northern lottery companies to calculate the win-loss ratio with the gamblers. At the end, all messages are deleted.
