Authorities dismantled a football betting ring in the Nhon Trach Industrial Park.

The Nhon Trach Industrial Zone Police Station (Dong Nai City) has handed over the case files and individuals involved in the football betting case to the Nhon Trach Ward Police for further investigation and handling according to their jurisdiction.

On July 3rd, the Nhon Trach Industrial Zone Police Station announced that they had handed over the case files and the suspects Tran Quoc Viet, Quach Vu Linh (born in 1989, from Ca Mau province), and Tran Nhat Chanh (born in 1988, residing in Long Thanh ward, Dong Nai city) to the Nhon Trach Ward Police for investigation and clarification of their involvement in gambling in the form of football betting.

Regarding the incident, the police released Tran Van Nuoc and Dinh Van Nho on bail to their families, pending further processing for similar offenses.

The Nhon Trach Industrial Zone Police Station handed over the football betting suspects for further investigation.

Earlier, on the morning of July 2nd, the Nhon Trach Industrial Zone Police Station noticed Tran Quoc Viet, a worker at a company in Nhon Trach Industrial Zone 5, exhibiting suspicious behavior, so they invited him to the station for questioning.

Initial verification results determined that on July 1st and 2nd, 2026, Tran Quoc Viet participated in football betting with an amount exceeding 16 million VND; Quach Vu Linh participated with an amount of nearly 22 million VND; Tran Nhat Chanh participated with an amount of 10 million VND. Tran Van Nuoc and Dinh Van Nho participated in football betting with an amount of less than 5 million VND.

The case is still under investigation by the police, who will clarify the facts and handle the individuals involved according to the law.
