Unlike the form of criticism, which usually focuses on commenting and praising or criticizing a literary work, in Trinh Hien Tuoi Hoa, Trinh Dang Nguyen Huong (currently working at the Institute of Literature) focuses on researching the issues that the literary work raises. For example, with the work Chuc Mot Ngay Toi Lanh by writer Nguyen Nhat Anh, she sees in it the awareness of the living environment. The image of the garden in the work "suggests a green, cool life, where all things live together in harmony and connection, which is the dream of children as well as adults in modern society".

Similarly, the work Southern Forest Land by writer Doan Gioi is also a typical work of ecological awareness. According to researcher Trinh Dang Nguyen Huong, the success of this work lies not only in recreating the maturity of a teenager through war but also in depicting the relationship between humans and nature. “Through the conflict in human thoughts and emotions, the writer shows the connections between humans and nature, and the process of transforming nature is also the process of transforming human awareness of their own existence as a natural entity,” the author wrote.
Applying comparative theory, the author also examined two works Time Shop by Lee Na Young (Korea) and Making Friends with the Sky by Nguyen Nhat Anh (Vietnam), to see the important role of school and family in children's development: "Although children are significantly affected by pressure on academic performance, time and family events, children are also independent individuals... with their own perceptions and actions to decide their own lives and happiness", researcher Trinh Dang Nguyen Huong concluded.
Perhaps due to the requirements of the research work as well as showing admiration for the writer, out of 9 articles, 6 articles mention/examine the works of writer Nguyen Nhat Anh. However, in the context of domestic children's literature having many developments as it is now, readers also hope that in the following works, the author will expand the scope to "stand shoulder to shoulder" more closely with domestic works, contributing to the development of children's literature in our country.
