Planting 1,200 rhododendron trees in Nu Village.

On March 28th, the Provincial Farmers' Association and HD Bank Lao Cai Branch organized a program to plant rhododendron trees in Lang Nu village, Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district.

With the desire to join hands in overcoming the consequences of the storm, supporting the planting of trees to make the road in the Lang Nu resettlement area bright, green, clean, and beautiful, and expanding the area for planting myrtle trees to create livelihoods for families affected by natural disasters, the Provincial Farmers' Association, in coordination with HD Bank Lao Cai Branch, donated and planted 1,200 myrtle trees for the people here, with a total value of over 50 million VND.

At the launch event, nearly 800 myrtle trees were planted along the roads of Lang Nu village, spanning almost 1 km. The remaining myrtle trees will be planted by the Party committee, local government, and residents of Lang Nu village to create green hedges between families, enhancing the landscape…

Earlier, the delegation visited the Memorial Area for the Victims to offer incense, toured the exhibition area in Lang Nu village, and visited the V2 orange orchard in Phuc Khanh commune.
