The Ngoc Hoi intersection has become a gathering point for forces and vehicles, and also a place where people can report those still trapped in the flooded area.
The young mother and baby were safely escorted across the flooded section of road by rescue workers, ensuring their absolute safety before boarding the boat.
The military and civilians are working together to rescue people in areas cut off by the floods.
Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Xuan (33 years old, residing in Nam Nha Trang ward) burst into tears, pleading with authorities to help search for her relatives who are trapped in Dien Khanh commune.
Authorities transported the injured to a first aid station for initial medical care.
