The Vietnamese futsal team will participate in the 2024 International Futsal Friendly Tournament against opponents such as Morocco, New Zealand, and Iran. These are all strong teams, creating a challenge that will help the Vietnamese team hone their skills in preparation for the Asian Championship - which also serves as a World Cup qualifying round.
In their opening match, the Vietnamese team drew 2-2 with New Zealand. This was a game where coach Diego Giustozzi experimented extensively with lineups and tactics.
In their second match, the Vietnamese futsal team performed excellently against the Moroccan futsal team. Coach Giustozzi's players clearly showed improvement in their ball control and attacking coordination, even in the final moments of the match. The Vietnamese team drew 3-3 with Morocco.
