The Vietnam futsal team will compete in the 2024 international futsal friendly tournament with opponents such as Morocco, New Zealand and Iran. These are all strong teams, creating challenges for the Vietnam team to train in preparation for the Asian Championship - which is also the World Cup qualifier.
In the opening match, the Vietnamese team drew 2-2 with New Zealand. This was a match in which coach Diego Giustozzi conducted many experiments in terms of formation and tactics.
In the second match, the Vietnamese futsal team played excellently against the Moroccan futsal team. Coach Giustozzi's players showed clear improvement in their ability to control the ball and coordinate attacks even at the end of the match. The Vietnamese team drew 3-3 with Morocco.
