Quang Hai crossed the ball from the right, but the Palestinian defender failed to clear it properly. The ball reached Hoang Duc's feet from less than 10 meters away, but he shot it straight at an opponent's leg and out of bounds.

Defender Ho Tan Tai replaced Trung Hieu. As he was being carried off the field on a stretcher, Trung Hieu covered his face because this was his first match for the national team.
